Academic Curriculum:
Ph.D. in Economics from the University of Zurich.
Research on how business strategies can be adapted to country-specific
institutions and political constraints. In recent work, he studied
how politically well-connected firms choose to access global capital
markets. He has also written about strategies for siting industrial
facilities and the choice of business locations.

Andreas Andresen Professor of Business Administration, Harvard Business School
